Bobcats Team Report (Yahoo! Sports)
Tuesday, February 21, 2012
Bobcats coach Paul Silas keeps saying that once his roster is back at full strength, they'll be a competitive NBA team. Sunday in Indiana said otherwise—resoundingly. With all but shooting guard Gerald Henderson back from injury, the Bobcats trailed by 40 points or more for most of the fourth quarter in a 108-73 loss. They return to Charlotte for a rematch with the Pacers Wednesday before a week-long All-Star break that should evoke some soul-searching. The Bobcats broke a 17-game losing streak, a franchise record, with Friday's victory in Toronto. If they expected that would represent a reversal of fortune, then Sunday was a dramatic wakeup call. They trailed 20-2 to a Pacers team that had won just one of its last six games. The Bobcats have back point guard...

The Bobcats, who have lost 17 of their last 18 games, championed the community effort as part of the "Cats Care" initiative. Jordan arrived at the Bobcats arena as a smiling passenger in a 26-foot, 14,000-pound refrigerated mobile pantry worth $125,000 that the Bobcats,...

Danny Granger and David West each scored 14 points for the Pacers, who have won two in a row following a season-long...

Bobcats on pace to become the worst NBA team ever (AP)
Thursday, February 16, 2012
Six-time NBA champion Michael Jordan continues to struggle as a league executive. The Jordan-owned Bobcats are 3-26 and flirting with NBA futility. Because of the lockout-shortened season Charlotte won't challenge the 1972-73 Philadelphia 76ers' record of 72 losses. However, the Bobcats have lost 16 straight games and have a worse winning percentage (.103) than that infamous 76ers team.

The Charlotte Bobcats were in prime position to snap a 15-game losing streak when D.J. Augustin returned to the lineup and helped them take the lead into halftime. By the time the dust settled on yet another loss, the Bobcats were still trying to figure out the license number on the 6-foot-11, 290-pound Montenegrin truck that ran them over in the final 24 minutes.
